Since its release in February 1989, the Subaru Legacy touring wagon has rapidly risen in popularity as a functional, high-performing leisure and travel vehicle. In 1991 an air scoop was added to the hood, the intake size of the turbo intercooler was enlarged and the trim was upgraded. The roomy interior features large seats and a center armrest.
