Do 215B-4 WWII German Reconnaissance Plane 1/48 ICM Models

In the beginning of the 1930s an idea emerged that a high-speed bomber could outstrip contemporary fighters. One aircraft borne of this concept was the twin-engine bomber Do 215B-4, designed in Germany. Starting in the beginning of 1940 a small series of 105 Do 215B planes with liquid-cooled DB 601A engines was produced. The Do 215B-4 featured two photo cameras for use as a long-range photoreconnaissance plane in France and on the Soviet-German front. In 1942 four Do 215B-4 planes were supplied to the Hungarian Air Force.
