Do 17Z-10 WWII German Night Fighter 1/72 ICM Models

In the beginning of the 1930s an idea emerged that a high-speed bomber could outstrip contemporary fighters. One aircraft borne of this concept was the twin-engine bomber Do 17, designed by Dornier in Germany. Starting in the beginning of 1939 it was produced in modification Do 17Z, which featured a new ‘Waffenkopf’ type nose and an air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engine. In 1940 nine Do 17Z-10 Kauz II night fighters were produced. Spanner-Anlage infrared night vision devices were installed along with more powerful armament.
