Chinook HC.2/CH-47F Helicopter 1/48 Italeri

Introduced in 1962, the Chinook helicopter rapidly took on a reputation as a superior aircraft. It was used in Vietnam to transport troops and equipment, including landing heavy artillery on otherwise inaccessible mountain ranges. More recently, Chinooks have provided heavy lift capability for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
